Australian state and territory skilled-migration nomination programs have reset for the 2026-27 financial year (effective 1 July 2026). States are publishing updated occupation lists, revised points thresholds, and new stream allocations. Programs including NSW Global Talent, VIC DAMA, QLD Skilled, WA WASMOL Schedule 1 and 2, SA International Student, TAS Skilled Employment, ACT Critical Skills, and NT regional programs have all transitioned to their 2026-27 parameters. Many programs paused briefly around 30 June - check the current open/closed status on each state program page before lodging an Expression of Interest.
